Synopsis:
An archeological dig at an ancient burial ground unearths a demonic goblin in this ghoulish tale. When an excavator disappears, assistant archaeologist Hieda (Kenji Sawada) convinces the missing man’s son, Maseo (Masaki Kudou), that evil is afoot. A rash of mysterious beheadings leads the men to a showdown with the spiderlike Hiruko, a goblin charged with opening the Gates of Hell and unleashing an angry army of bloodthirsty demons.
