Synopsis:
Four youngsters play the game of “Contacting Ghosts”. Ming, who does not participate, sees a female ghost with long hair. One of them dies of a heart attack mysteriously in the bathroom later. Magazine editors Jack and Cessy (Ming’s older sister) investigate the case and discover that the other three players have also died as well. As the entire incident is very weird and unexplainable, they fear that Ming might also die. They seek help from an expert on the supernatural, called Mr
Mo, and attempt to sort out every possible clue. They learn that the deaths are linked to a vengeful spirit, called Cho Yan-may, who had caused 66 deaths within three days in a rural village several years ago. They travel to the village and find out the truth from an old man. Apparently, the ghost had poisoned a water source, such that people who drank the water would suffer from hallucinations and die. Mo and Cessy are the only survivors from the incident and they manage
to appease the ghost’s anger by displaying their affections for each other.
